Choir?

  • Jun. 30th, 2009 at 9:19 AM
Winter:
Monday I had choir!! It's been so long!
We're getting ready for our Peru tour. (6-16th!!)
So, choir like usual in the evening.
It's such a small group - I like it!! We sound kind of weird, though, because the 24 of us are used to 56....
I wanted to see Zach, so I ended up meeting him in our park afterwards. Not for too long, though... work and more choir tomorrow... *sigh*

Parents Home....

  • Jun. 29th, 2009 at 9:16 AM
Winter:
Sunday my parents came home.
I spent the morning 'sleeping' and taking a shower, and cleaning the house.
Picked up some chicken for supper, but I was kinda late starting out to go to the airport.
I was supposed to pick them up (park and go in and wait for them) but I was a bit late, so it worked out that all I had to do was pull up near the 'arrivals' place and they hopped in.
Didn't end up doing too much after that.
Had to spend and evening with them... *sigh*

Night on Colour Ave

  • Jun. 28th, 2009 at 9:10 AM
Winter:
For a moment there I forgot what I did on Saturday.
I didn't do much during the day. Mostly just slept in, wandered around, cleaned up. The usual.
Went and had supper at a Chinese place we love with Zach and Sandy. Then went down to Colour Ave at night to meet up with Jon, Chris, Alex, and such down at the Colour Dog.
Jon got pretty drunk. But he's a lightweight.
Hahaha you should have SEEN the marks on Zach's neck. He says they're from 'Michelle'. It looks like he got hit by a hammer.
Didn't stay out for too long... didn't really want to.
Went back home pretty early to try to get some sleep.
Managed to get SOME.

Hippy Van Party

  • Jun. 27th, 2009 at 1:19 PM
Winter:
Friday is when I had moved the hippy van party to. I WAS going to go into work, but work up late-ish by a text from Zach asking if I was at work. I said 'no' and he called me up and asked if I could pick him up from work in SEC.
They had told him to go home because his legs weren't holding out well enough. So, I drove over there to pick him up.
Let him crash at my place while I cleaned the house and van and whatnot. Left him there while I went to do some shopping too.
It was a pretty nice day, actually.
Paul showed up eventually near 6-7ish, and we tried to move the van. Not so much luck. Tried to jump it because we thought it might be the battery.
Still no luck, so I said 'fuck it' and took the keys (Zach was supposed to be driving it because he can drive stick well) and tried it myself.
Turns out Zach had been putting the key in the wrong way. *sigh*
Zach really wanted to go for a drive, so we decided to do that.
Saw Sandy, picked up Sid, saw Sam at work, got the van stuck again, went home... that general idea.
We ended up not using the van at all that night. Stayed in the house mostly, and had glow-stick fights.
Yes, glowstick fights. SUCK fun. We'll do it another day sometime out in a field instead of just my backyard.
Everyone ended up heading home around 4am because we were all so tired.

Talking in McD's.

  • Jun. 26th, 2009 at 1:15 PM
Winter:
Thursday I made 'random' plans with Sam (whom I had met through Sid at Starbucks a while ago) to meet up.
Ended up sitting in Starbucks with Sandy, Alex, Chris, Zach, Kaitlin and Sam. Eventually everyone had to leave (work, dates, hockey and such). Which left Sam and I.
We decided to go to McD's. SOOOO healthy. But whatever.
Sat around talking for ages. Which I always find wonderful.
Later on Zach showed up and ended up sleeping at my place for a bit, and heading out early to get to work.

Korean BBQ

  • Jun. 25th, 2009 at 1:03 PM
Winter:
Didn't do much at work, pretty much just waited around until I could leave, then picked up Zach so he and I could go have Korean BBQ.
MMMNNN that stuff is so fucking good. And he showed me how to do it properly too! Which was awesome.
Didn't do anything, really after that.
Ended up with a boy at my house. ;)

Midnight Transformers

  • Jun. 24th, 2009 at 3:48 PM
Winter:
Tried to get up early, but it didn't work so well.
I decided that even though it 930, I could still get my ass into work.
Until I tried to eat breakfast and almost threw up.
Decided that wasn't so good, so I stayed home.
Was lazy for the first part of the day, but being slightly delirious (I think - otherwise I'm just insane) I decided that since I was at home, I should mow the lawn.
Not the best thing to do when you're sick.
Couldn't figure out where the injector button was for the lawnmower. For about 10 minutes until I took off the bag.
Then couldn't figure out how the hell to get the bag back on properly.
Until 10 minutes, and a thrown bag later did I realize it just sat there and then you had to move a little lever thing to keep it in place.
FINALLY managed to get it started, but it was HARD work out in the sun, going in circles and when I'm sick.
No matter, I managed to get all of it done. I am proud.
Zach came by and chastised me about mowing the lawn. And he and I eventually headed out to Starbucks (after him loosing his keys in my couch).
Met up with Sandy there, went out to the SEC to the movie theatre.
Sandy waiting in the LOOOOONG line (well, not terribly long since we go there an hour and a half early) and finally being hungry (and Zach being starving) he and I went to go find some Subway and McD's to smuggle into the theatre.
Had a BIT of trouble fitting everything into bags and coats, but we managed.
Saw the 12:05 show of TRANSFORMERS!!!
Let me just say - AWESOME.
That's all you need to know.
Sleep is good. Especially for sickness.

Good Bye Irish!

  • Jun. 23rd, 2009 at 3:39 PM
Winter:
Monday I didn't do much either. Woke up in time to go to work, but was feeling really crappy still.
Had a quick shower, then sat around with the Irish while they ate, packed, waited for Bob and Heather, and then left.
They're going on a trip out to the cabin in the mountains. Most of the wedding family is.
Said 'bye' and then mozied off to work.
Got in, they realized I was sick and tried to make me go home. NO WAY.
So, I worked for a while, then went to hang out with some people.
Zach ended up at my place watching tv.

Winter:
I slept in SO much on Sunday. Fucking sick as a dog.
Didn't really do much until about 3 in the afternoon. And even then I just wandered around the place and watched tv.
Zach came by later with some Starbucks.
He left to go to Devyn's birthday party.
Janet coaxed me out, so I got dressed and went to Starbucks, then over to Brewsters.
Zach was mad because he thought I shouldn't have been out. Took me home and sat around talking with the Irish for a while.
But that was about it.

Wedding

  • Jun. 21st, 2009 at 3:28 PM
Winter:
Saturday was wedding day.
Zach left decently early. I had a shower and got ready, so by noon everyone was piled into my car and I was driving them downtown.
Found the church without TOO much trouble.
Wedding was SHORT! I was very happy.
I can't say much else about the wedding, mostly because I hate them, and I wasn't paying too much attention.
Very pretty bride and groom, though.
I decided that since it was three hours until the reception there was no point in changing out and back into my dress. So I just went to Starbucks in my dress.
Got a few stares. Jon and Sandy were impressed.
Which is good enough for me.
Picked up Zach on the side of the road, took him to get some pants.
Dropped Sandy at home, and Zach and I went to his place where he got ready and I talked to his mother.
He has a very nice mother, just let me say. Talked for quite a while until we needed to leave.
Had a bit more difficulty finding the hotel (luckily I had Zach otherwise I would have been SO lost).
Again, can't say much about the reception. Was nice. Good food. (Although I didn't each much due to the fact I was sick and wasn't feeling so hot)
Although it was a funny night - singing for the newlyweds to kiss, jokes at the brunt of other people...
Went home earlyish because nothing was really happening. And I was tired.
Didn't end up going to bed early because Zach stuck around until the Irish came home.

The Cake-Not-HippyVan-Party

  • Jun. 20th, 2009 at 3:54 PM
Winter:
Friday I didn't spend huge amounts of time at work. Did some driving, but that's about it.
I was excited for the Hippy Van party, but the forecast was promising rain. And I had no where ASIDE from the van to house people because of the Irish in my house. Plus I was sure I was getting sick, and with the wedding Saturday all day, I wasn't too happy with the lack of sleep I'd be getting.
So I decided to postpone the party until next week.
Not a bad idea, I have to say...
Ended up meeting up with Mitsuki anyway to have supper. MMNNNNN Italian. From the good place on Colour Ave.
Took her back to my place, sorted some things out there, then Zach wandered over and we all picked up Sandy and went to Starbucks.
Yay for free coffee, once again.
We sat around, saying 'hi' to Chris, and Alex joined us not much later, as well as Kevin.
Sat around for a bit and decided that we wanted cake. And that we should make it ourselves. Which is ALWAYS fun.
So after a bit, we went to pick up cake mix and icing from a near-by grocery store and brought it back to my place.
Baked the cake (marble chocolate and vanilla)
While I dropped Mitsuki at home (she had to get up early for work the next day) Alex went to pick up Chris after his shift.
We sat around, frolicked, ate and all around had fun for a few more hours until we decided that we needed SOME sleep.
Zach ended up crashing at my place.

The 'I'm Going to Fuck You' Dress

  • Jun. 19th, 2009 at 1:23 PM
Winter:
I didn't do a huge amount on Thursday at work. Didn't do a huge amount at home either.
Got back, cleaned up a bit. Zach came over, and we headed out to the Big Mall.
I REALLY needed to find a dress for the wedding on Saturday. I've been putting it off for ages and ages.
Took Zach along as a 'looks good, looks hot, looks not' commenter.
One of the first few dresses I walked out of the change room in.... you should have seen his face.
It was an 'oh, god, if no one was around, I'd fuck you right here' look.
I figure that's a pretty good look. It looks hot on me mostly because I have curves and boobs.
So, that's the dress I ended up getting. Wandered around the mall for a bit, but that was all we really went there for.
Sat at home for a bit - made myself supper while Zach was out playing hockey.
Kate took the two younger Irish people that are staying with us out to the bars. I picked up Zach and went out there too.
Tare was there, along with Olivier and a few other people.
Didn't spend much time out there though.
Zach was starving, so I took him to Denny's. Didn't get home until 130... *sigh* Sleep is illusive now-a-days.
BUUUUTTTTTTT Hippy Van Party Tomorrow!!!!
Excitment!!

Wandering Across Town

  • Jun. 18th, 2009 at 9:41 AM
Winter:
Wednesday I did some driving and moving boxes for work. I got to drive on sidewalks - it was AWESOME!
But left kinda early because I was sick of working. Got home, said 'Hi' to my guests, finished making my skittles vodka. (Straining it and putting it in bottles)
Zach came by to watch me do so for a bit. We headed out to have supper with Esther down near Colour Ave.
Good Chinese food... mmmnn. Lenka showed up for a bit too. The two of them eventually went on their way, and Zach and I went out to the BigMall to go pick up Sandy (and see Jon - although we didn't end up seeing him) and have frozen yogurt.
We got out there long before they were finished their bartending course, though, so Zach and I wandered around. I took him to Urban Outfitters (which he had never been in before!!) and he got a transformers shirt. He dragged me into a couple places, I showed him the Apple store. And we met up with Sandy to get frozen yogurt.
Decided we should actually go see a movie, so drove all the way down to SEC and decided to watch 'The Hangover'.
Let me tell you, that is a HILARIOUS movie. Go watch it.
Drove them home and got back around 1, just in time to get ready for bed and get a couple hours sleep. (As well as taste a bit of the skittles vodka)

Looking Like a Drunkard

  • Jun. 17th, 2009 at 9:24 AM
Winter:
Tuesday I didn't even bother going into work. I was pretty damn tired. *sigh*
Just because I haven't been getting good sleeps consistently for a week or so.
So I ended up sleeping in a bit, and then watching tv.
I decided that since I wasn't at work I could at least go out to get errands done. So, I got my glowsticks, finally.
I also did some searching about a new camera.
SO, I finally ended up getting one. Panasonic Lumix - waterproof. It's a nice camera. I would have just replaced my old one, but they're not selling those anymore, and that's the next best thing on the market right now.
Plus, HD video... :) that's the part that makes me happy.
Zach came over while I was fiddling with my camera (he had been at home sick as well). I ended up taking him out down to near the University hospital to meet with Caitlin (the one I went to NewYork with).
She was giving me bottles to make my skittles vodka with. We sat around in Timmy's for a while. I sat there with my bag of clinking bottles.
But eventually she headed out to her bus and Zach and I headed out to try and find him some clothes. So, he and I went down to Colour Ave to go to his favorite store. He was being pretty touchy-feely though, which was kinda cute... not as much as Paul and I usually are, though, which I find funny.
And we ended up going to the Southend mall near our houses afterwards to try to get him a new charger for his camera. He has to head uptown to their main store to get it though.
Went back to my house where we started to make skittles vodka.
Zach left and not too TOO much later the Irish people (relatives of my 'relatives') showed up to stay in my house.
They watched me make skittles vodka, and eventually we all went to bed.

Not a Bad Monday

  • Jun. 16th, 2009 at 9:07 AM
Winter:
Monday work was nothing much. Just a bunch of typing/entering data.
Didn't do too much in the evening.
Picked up Sandy from the Big Mall after his bartending course.
Sandy, Zach and I decided that we kinda wanted to watch a movie. So, we went over to SEC to check out movie times. But most of them were kinda late (the ones we wanted to watch, I mean).
Sandy called shotgun when we got outside, but Zach actually challenged him. And ended up running to my car with his pants down... Sandy didn't even bother trying for it.
We ended up going to Sandy's house to watch Transformers. (Which, I have to say, I've never seen aside from small bits here and there.)
Watched Transformers, and I took Zach home.
Ended up staying up late with fuckbuddy again... *sigh*

Sleepy Ouch

  • Jun. 15th, 2009 at 9:26 AM
Winter:
Sunday was pretty un-eventful.
I watched tv for most of the day and tried to not fall asleep.
Cleaned out a drawer.
Did a couple errands (like grocery shopping, wal-mart hell for skittles (not worth it at all because they didn't have glowsticks like I wanted), vodka and petrol.
Went to starbucks at 7 when Sandy had his break (then Chris after).
Zach came along with me for a little bit.
Then fuckbuddy that I had sent home earlier that day came by my house to watch Ironman with me. But not much of it was watched.
That man is INSATIABLE!
Anyway, that's about it. And all I can say is that I kinda hurt.
(At least the teeth marks have faded a bit - but I left some pretty good bruises on him...)

Planes, Sex, Bars and Old Friends

  • Jun. 14th, 2009 at 9:01 AM
Winter:
Saturday I got up at a decent time. Mostly because my 'relatives' arrived early, and I got dressed so I could say 'hi' to them in a decent manner.
Turns out that they're not going to be staying in our house for a couple days. Which is A-okay with me. Then we got my parents packed. Got a couple groceries, and I drove them out to the airport around 2.
Got back in time to go to the hairdresser so I could get my hair done.
Let me just say, my hair has grown ridiculously slow. As in, I had only gotten about 4-5 inches since November when I last dyed it back to blonde (from red).
I am now a more platinum blonde with almost-black bits looking girl.
Not bad.
Headed out to West Ed for a quick teeth clean, and a few extra things (in the form of underwear and a couple tops).
Decided that I wanted to go out that night.
So I told Paul to get his ass out to whyte.
Met up with him and Adam, brought Esther out for a bit and Zach showed up too.
Saw a whole bunch of old friends from McKernan. Which was actually so nice because it's been AGES.
Promised each other we'd go out at somepoint together.
I managed to take a boy home with me that night (no worries, someone I know/old fuck-buddy) because there was no one in my house.
(Speaking of, Esther 'lost her v-card' supposedly, just won't tell me who)
And seriously? 4 times in one night?

Eventful Night

  • Jun. 13th, 2009 at 8:36 AM
Winter:
The only interesting thing about work was that I got a strange phonecall from a guy who seemed to think that I had given him my number. I rarely give guys my number, but he was insistent. I thought it was pretty funny. So did Gord.
Alright, so weekend? I was pretty damn sure I was going to enjoy the weekend because my parents are leaving on Saturday.
Plus, Zach had said that his brother was in town and that we'd be going out partying with him.
So, that's exactly what we did on Friday.
Well, I mean, I stopped off at home first, then quickly jaunted out to my mural. DDT had phoned me up earlier in the week to ask if I would come out and help explain what we were supposed to be doing with the last few bits of the mural.
I HATE that mural so much right now, but you know what? It's going to be finished soon, so I won't ever have to worry about it ever again!
And I didn't stay for the full three hours, but instead left after an hour or so to go down to E&C to watch the last bit of THE game 7 of the Stanly Cup (I'm Canadian - of course I'm going to watch it - it's hockey!!) Caught the last few minutes and watched as the Pens won, which is good because I was hoping for them over Detroit. Of course, I didn't really want EITHER team to win, but 'the lesser or two evils' I suppose.
By the time I had gotten to E&C most of the people there had been drinking since 6. Over $400 tab, and a few drunk people later, we were walking down Colour Ave to go to the next bar. Which happened to be a 'Maritime's' themed place.
I'm not going to lie, I'm glad I was the DD that night, because I don't think I would have been able to drink that much alcohol. Zach's brother kept buying rounds... and everyone (excluding me) was thoroughly pissed before 10. (The group being Zach, Zach's brother Joe, Justin, Sandy, Ken and I.)
I do love laughing at drunk people, but when you're THAT drunk, or have had that much to drink it's not as funny and I start worrying. But I suppose it was good for Zach because he drank away a bit of his problems, and got to talk to some of the 'boys' about what's been going on. I think that's part of the problem is that he used to talk to Justin alot, and since Justin's got Janet now they don't talk as much, and so all he has is me. And I'm wonderful at listening, but on a share-share basis, I'm horrible.
We went for REALLY good pizza at the end of the night. With wine. It was good pizza, and we disturbed the restaurant thoroughly. But after heading out and saying goodbye and thanks to Joe (and his fiance that had shown up), I decided that I should probably take everyone else home.
And as we're walking back down Colour Ave to get to my car, Ken (who we had been joking about earlier in the night about us having to maybe bail him out of jail) almost got arrested.
Yup, you heard right.
Here's the story:
We're walking along, and on one corner we see this black guy and a girl that's wearing some skimpy clothes (which is the norm for a warm night on Colour Ave)but she was getting angry at him because he had called her and her friends whores. Which, I mean may be an accurate thought on how they were dressed, but still, you don't just got shouting it out to random girls, especially if you're a guy.
So, the girl looked like she was about to smack the guy, but then (I didn't really see this) the guy either slapped her across the face, or punched her. Ken, being the country boy, couldn't stand for that, so he took the guy down. I mean, headlock, a couple punches, guy's on the ground.
Of course, a bike cop shows up not seconds later to break everything up.
Then four other bike cops show up, and a police cruiser.
Eeerrrr. And the rest of us are wondering what the hell to do, because we're pretty sure that Ken's going to be arrested.
But, story checked out, and it was actually a very good thing of him to do, because really, a guy shouldn't get away with hitting a girl like that.
Might have helped that one of the cops was a woman too.
But he was thanked and let on his way.
Which is when we booked it out of there, and I drove him home.
Not a bad night! Certainly eventful... I'm sure if I hadn't drove people home, things would not have turned out well... people in ditches, people not getting laid, people getting arrested...

Predictable?

  • Jun. 12th, 2009 at 12:48 PM
Winter:
Did jack all at work on Thursday. Parents anniversary, so we got pepper steak for supper, and I went out to bring them back icecream afterwards.
Met up with Zach at Starbucks, but completely forgot that Thursday's are his hockey night. He stayed for a bit, apologized to me for yesterday, and then Sandy showed up.
Sandy and I ended up going out to look at all the pretty houses. Even going of the Qu bridge to try to get to the big house next to my cousin's. Stupid traffic...
Good music in my car, though...
Went to MikkyD's afterwards by myself, though because I had this HUGE craving for fries, and I know I'm doing my 'diet and exercise' thing starting Saturday when my parents leave, so might as well get the yucky foods now...
Zach met up with me there after his hockey, and we went for a little bit of a drive.

Paul Time!

  • Jun. 11th, 2009 at 12:40 PM
Winter:
Wednesday Paul and I had decided to meet up because for some reason we don't seem to see each other too much anymore.
So, we wandered around Colour Ave, like usual once we were both off of work.
Got bubble tea, then starbucks, then A&W.
I mean, that took HOURS, but that's just the shortened version. I won't even bother saying anything about what Paul and I talk about over all those hours because it's always so random and skips topic-to-topic.
Zach, in the meantime was getting really strangely pissy. Of course, he's been having a bad couple weeks. (Did I mention him getting hit in the side of his neck by a puck? oooowwww took Monday off of work because of it) But, he was being weird.
And then he decided to get all 'my life is horrible' on me and say he was going out for a 'drive'.
*sigh* what am I going to do with that boy...
I'm looking forward to the next while - parents are leaving on saturday!! woohoo!

Cleaning, Drinking, Laughing, Cleaning

  • Jun. 10th, 2009 at 9:25 AM
Winter:
I thought I was going to be staying home Tuesday night because my mother wanted me to clean the house.
Why do I need to clean the house if we have cleaners coming tomorrow?!
Worked about 10 hours straight, which was kinda nasty. Although I did have a good conversation with Conrad, which I usually don't get to do now-a-days.
Got home, made supper, ate a bit, cleaned up, then vacuumed the entire house.
I mean, I love Barnaby the vacuum, but the whole house - REALLY?!
Fortunately, Zach saved me at about 730. He and Chris came to pick me up and we went to Starbucks.
Where we met up with Alex, Kaitlin, Jon, Sandy and Dennis. (As well as the ones who were working)
We told everyone about the awesome car we had seen in the RBC parking lot on our way over.
COMPLETELY saranwrapped. And written on in shaving cream/whipped cream.
And how Zach had slapped Chris' ass so hard he split his book in half.
Zach left after not too long because he got called up to play a hockey game.
So, the rest of us sat around for a while, and I got a ride home from Jon.
Haven't seen him properly in AGES.
Got home and I managed to clean my entire room in about an hour.
Kinda needed it - although most of the mess was laundry.

Big Mall Time - CuteCameraGuy?

  • Jun. 9th, 2009 at 9:04 AM
Winter:
Monday, I was supposed to go somewhere for work, but I got out of it because they sent someone else. woohoo!!!
After work, Esther and I were supposed to go to The Big Mall, but she bailed, like usual, so I was left to go on my own. Which was okay because I suppose I had more personal things to do out there.
Plus, I met Mitsuki and her boy on the bus. And that was okay.
Went to the Big Mall for Underwear, Frozen Yogurt, Camera People, Moisturizer, and to ask a couple things.
I got all of the above done.
Underwear shopping was not so fun because I got a couple new bras. I HATE bra shopping.
I've grown. I'm now a 32D-DD.
ARRGGGHHH. Why do my boobs have to be so large?!?!
Got my other things done, went off to the camera store.
Talked to SUCH a cute, nice guy. (I sent him a facebook message because he wrote down his full name for me - is that a bit creepy?)
Talked to this guy for a bit, then met up with Sandy who was finishing his bartending course.
We got frozen yogurt.
Laughed with the girl who was trying to sell hermit crabs. (They're actually SO cute...)
Then Zach picked us up and we went back to the SouthSide to go to Starbucks for a while.

Painting Tigerrrrrrrrs

  • Jun. 8th, 2009 at 8:57 AM
Winter:
Sunday was a lazy day of sorts. I didn't mind it. Didn't really see anyone, though, which was kinda sad.
Slept in a bit, which was nice, and then decided that yeah, I should do something.
So I didn't do much at all.
Finally got down to work on my painting. Tiger is ORANGE. Which is really cool, because it looks very startling.
Had to move pretty much everything from the old laptop upstairs to other computers because my dad 'told me to'. Took HOURS.
Finished my painting by the end of the night. Early enough I could go outside to take a couple picture in the fading light of pretty trees.
Aaaaand, that's about it.

Winter:
Saturday, I remember the general idea of what I did.
Woke up lateish, got bothered by my parents.
Was told I needed to paint things, so I found a picture.
Went out on errands around the city, including a paint store to get a canvas to my mother's liking.
Took all my paint things and a drawn-onto-canvas tiger down to starbucks to sit around with Zach.
He'd been having a horrible day.
2 hours later, I have the head of a tiger finished. Then I have to go home for supper.
An hour later, I'm back at Starbucks talking with Sandy, Chris, Alex and Garett. They're going off to play Starcraft... *rolls eyes*
So, Zach and I sit around for a bit, then decide to drive around.
Make it almost to a ColouredAnimal city, then turn around and come back.
Useless, really.
Sit around in a farmers field for a bit. Then go over to Alex's to pick up Sandy.
Slap Zach a few (over 10) times because he calls me THAT name. He's learned not to now.
We went down to Colour Ave to see Paul.
Raced down to where he was because we thought the bars might stop letting people in at 1 in the morning.
They don't, but the line was stupidly long. Although, Paul, Esther and many other came out of Suite just after we had arrived. Adam was outside as well.
Some of them decided they wanted to go to this REALLY sketchy country bar... and some of us really didn't want to.
So, Zach, Sandy and I were thinking about just headed off to Denny's for cheesecake, when Paul HIS friendAdam (not the one I used to date), and some girls found us, and we headed over to a kitchen/bar that my friend was DJ'ing at.
Laughed at Paul making out with a new girl he had found.
Creepy guy who made a humping gesture at me, and then pushed Zach....
Went to Denny's later, got the awesome hashbrowns instead of the cheesecake. But potato's win ANY day.

Winter:
For fuck's sake, I wish I didn't have THE worst memory in the entire world..

I have been informed that I went out driving for a bit, and wouldn't tell Zach where I had been.
He got pissed off at me because I wouldn't tell him.
But he's been having a bad week.
We went down to Colour Ave to watch people fall over all the construction that's around there, and then went to see Zach's buddy Eric (that I know as well).
And that's about it...

Hockey?

  • Jun. 5th, 2009 at 8:47 AM
Winter:
Well, Thursday I thought I was going to have to myself because that's when Zach goes to play hockey.
However, when I talked with Sandy, he decided that he wanted to go watch Zach play.
SOOOO we shipped off in Zach's truck to go watch him play.
Sandy and I ended up having a decently long conversation about porn. Which was funny.
I also was awesome by scaling a fence to get the pucks on the other side for the boys... go girl power! *cringes at the phrase*
I... don't think we did much aside from that. Not that I can remember at least.

Darryl? Where have you gone?

  • Jun. 4th, 2009 at 10:08 AM
Winter:
Day didn't start out so hot.
Was violently ill for the beginning of the day.
Then managed to drag myself into work.
Didn't have huge amounts to do, which was nice.
Skipped out on a work event, which was okay.
Then went out with Zach for a lazy time at Starbucks.
And a quick visit to our old friend Darryl the Yield Sign. (Who has been replaced - I'll need to grab a sharpie and go down there again some time..)
SOMEONE (not naming names here) finally got the roadhead they've been after for a while. I laughed about it.

Bad News?

  • Jun. 3rd, 2009 at 9:56 AM
Winter:
I got some horrible, yet wonderful news today...
Zach is NOT going to be able to go to the Czech this summer to try out (and then get in, of course) to play hockey.
His doctor said his knee still isn't ready for the contact.
So he's stuck here the rest of the summer, as maybe for the next year.
It's horrible that he's not going to get to go - I was so excited for him!! But at the same time, better safe than sorry, he gets to stick around for a while longer, I get him for the rest of the summer, and he can go back to tryout next year.
We went out to Brewsters later on to go see some of his co-workers.
I find it hilarious that his coworker Tiffany LOVES me. (She even threatened to kick Zach's ass if he hurt me) hahaha Seems like I'm a wonderful person. ;)
Had a good talk with her boyfriend about computers, which he seemed so enthusiastic on.
Met up with Jon and Maurice outside there afterwards. Talked with them for a while - I LOVE those boys.
They randomly chased us in their Jeep down a few roads... fucking hell I was laughing so hard...
Zach and I went off back off into the country roads like we do a fair amount of the time now-a-days.

Drive and Talk

  • Jun. 2nd, 2009 at 9:50 AM
Winter:
A Monday without choir feels weird. So I was glad that I managed to convince Zach to come out with me.
Convince? What am I talking about, we ALWAYS hang out together. No convincing necessary.
He and I went on a big drive north. I don't think I've ever been that far North. I mean, it's an hour of of town, that's not far, but STILL.
I must say, there were some gorgeous clouds. Took a fair amount of pictures. Perhaps I'll paint them at some point.
Zach and I also talked for a bit about 'futures' and all that...
Pretty much I convinced him to not date me.
Well, I thought I had really turned him off being my friend for a bit there when I explained how I'm terrible with commitment because I sleep with other guys when I'm dating someone.
But we're all good now.

A Day of Choir

  • Jun. 1st, 2009 at 9:43 AM
Winter:
Sunday was ... a day.... Uumm
Well, to start off with, as part of our rent for using a church for rehearsals, we have to sing in one service a year. This Sunday was the one time.
I HATE church services. Hate sitting through them, hate singing the music, hate EVERYTHING about them.
But I was a good girl and sat through it all. *rolls eyes*
From there, Meghan, Esther, Sid, Aaron, Erica, Melanie, Mitsuki, Katie, Kelsey, Robyn, Carl and I went out to Colour Ave for a REALLY good lunch. Mmmnn Italian...
Cut it close getting to the church where we spent more time practicing, then got in our Amish dresses and gave an hour and a half concert.
Wooo. Fun.
Well, some of the songs are lots of fun, others, not so much.
After the concert, we went to BP's to have supper with a huge amount of choir people.
It was nice, seeing as I probably won't see some of them again. Depending on who ends up going back next year, or if I go back....
Got a ride home in a beautiful RX-8 (I REALLY wish my Dad had not listened to my mother and gotten the bloody car in the first place - it's niiiice)
and then, I THINK I went out with Zach for a little bit later on.
But that's about it.
It was a very choir-ly day.

A Usual

  • May. 31st, 2009 at 9:40 AM
Winter:
Saturday was okay.
Slept in a bit, which was nice.
Had my long-ass rehearsal for choir (last one of the actual year (pre-tour rehearsals are a BITCH)).
From there I went home for a shower, then went out to Brewsters with Sandy, Zach, Alex and Chris.
Twas a good night, lots of laughs as usual.
But that's about it.

ARRGGHHH

  • May. 30th, 2009 at 9:14 AM
Winter:
Friday was actually a REALLY crappy day. Not going to lie about it.
I almost cried at work. :(
There's this project I've been working on - a fixture count of EVERY single project we've done at Durmstrang. Which, essentially means that I've been searching through all the hardrives and archives we have to find these bloody material lists (and for the longest time I didn't even know how many projects, or which ones were to be included.) I had had a rough time with it to begin with, with the deadline for it's completion set at the end of this year, then in february being told 'we need it by friday'.
Then, there was a bunch of stuff I was missing (that I didn't even know existed) mostly because the file system they have for organizing is HORRIBLE. So, I was set back to work on it afterwards. Them saying, once again that 'in a few months'.
Then Bill comes in last week and says 'do you have my fixture count? no? get it done. now.'
So I work my ass off this whole week doing what they want, finding stuff and all the like. (True Story: I could NOT find any material of any sort for one job, so I went to ask Terry if we had a hardcopy of the files anywhere that I could look through. Bill came up and she asked him where we could find it, he sent us looking through his personal folders (how the HELL am I supposed to find stuff in there?!) and when we still couldn't find anything, he told us off the top of his head how many, and what type of fixtures went in. I'm sorry - there's no search for that!!!) (Plus, another couple times the lists were hidden in attachments in people's e-mails!!!)
So, Conrad comes in Friday after a horrible week and says "Sooooo, you've been working on this fixture count for a while, yeah? Uuumm, YOU shouldn't have had to do that. Bill shouldn't have given you this to do.... so, if he tries to make you do any more, have him come to me, or the company owner..."
Sooooo, I shouldn't have had to deal with all that crap...plus I had huge amounts of work piling up. *sigh*
And then, I come home to my parents telling me I needed to make supper for them because they were too tired.
Then my mother FORCED me to go to her choir concert. Let me tell you, I have a 5 hour rehearsal Saturday, and then two concerts Sunday for my choir. Do I WANT to go listen to more choir stuff on a Friday night? NOOOOO.
But they forced me anyway, and my Dad yelled at me part way through because I was looking bored.
Then there was that whole thing with MacLain and how much he hates me.... and how I wasn't allowed to my good friend Chris' surprise party because he hates me and told people to tell me I wasn't allowed to come.
I showed up anyway for about 2 minutes while he and Chris were out getting coffee. Picked up Sandy and Zach and headed out.
Zach drove us around for a while, getting stopped at a police roadblock and being asked if he had had anything to drink that night. Twas funny.
But, after dropping Sandy at home, spending some 'quality' time with Zach in his truck on the side of the road, I got home at about 4 am.
*sigh*

The Usual

  • May. 29th, 2009 at 4:46 PM
Winter:
I actually don't have much to say about Thursday night.
I really don't.
That and I'm trying to be short because I'm booking it out of work to go home - Friday baby!!
Watched FullHouse on youtube at work today. Awesome stuff.. forgot how much I loved that show!
But like Sandy and I had talked about on Wednesday, we met up for coffee at Starbucks. It's like a second home now, I swear.
We oggled at the broken bottle in the bathroom, laughed at the faces Zach makes when I touch his nipples or his ears, and generally enjoyed ourselves.
Biked there and back.
That's about the evening.
OOOHHH!! Except that I finally got my bloody CD's and LP I ordered from OM records. *sigh* I love that company...

Strippers Anyone?

  • May. 28th, 2009 at 4:38 PM
Winter:
Okay, not going to lie. Wednesday night was only SLIGHTLY weird and out-of-place.
Limo and Strippers anyone?
Janet had (randomly) gotten this free limo package that was pretty much a ride from a person's house to one of the strip clubs near my place and a few free coupons. STILL, not bad for it being free!
We were meeting up later at some girls house south of me, so I went to Starbucks for a little bit to talk to people. Saw Zach, Sandy and Jon. As.. always it seems. Geeez, I'm predictable.
Drove down to the house. Knew Devyn, Jen, Janet and Leala. But that's about it. (out of the 9 people going)
Limo picked us up at 10. Which isn't that bad, but it was a short ride because it's pretty close.
Took us to the strippers. Let me just say - Wednesday Night? Amateur night? SO HILARIOUS.
I love going to the strippers... it's great for judging women and not feeling bad about it.
Spent til fairly early in the morning there, then walked 40 minutes down to the Denny's. (Pushed one girl in a shopping cart halfway there because she was way too drunk otherwise).
Ate a bit and managed to get back to the house. Got home at 330.
Wednesday night? That's fun!
(Hahaha, I like how I was very short in description and did not talk about how we were sure one girl was a man, stripper calendars that we brought to Denny's, the stupid bouncers not letting us use our cell phones, and the numerous shots..)

Rainbows!!!

  • May. 27th, 2009 at 4:32 PM
Winter:
Another Tuesday spent with Zach. Geez, I seem to be repeating weeks it seems...
He wanted to go out for a walk, so we headed down to the rivervalley where we saw the beaver on Friday.
Didn't see any beavers, but we saw some RIDICULOUSLY cute chipmunks and squirrels.
That's the only thing I miss about winter, I think. All the water in the ravine freezes and you can walk on it. Follow the river.
But I like the pretty flowers more, I think. If I had allergies, I don't think I'd be as happy....
Although I'm terribly mad at Zach for giving me his cold... godamn him!!
We also went for a drive when it started raining. Saw a triple rainbow - which I haven't seen in a while. (hahaha probably about a year.) And tried to watch a thunderstorm to the south, but when we found a deserted country road and parked, it was pretty much over.
I told him 'no sex' for getting me sick. Hahah not like it matters.

An Un-Normal Day

  • May. 26th, 2009 at 10:24 AM
Winter:
Despite a late night, we got up at around 6 (meaning for me 3 hours of sleep) and got the German boys ready and headed off to get them to the bus.
It's sad that they're leaving... we've had such good times and they're such awesome people.
Said our farewells, took a few pictures, then walked down the street to wave goodbye to them.
After laughing at Melanie's park job (Middle of the street) and the people that were confused by it and tried to go around, Sid, Esther and I decided to go for coffee.
'But wait!' you say 'it's a Monday - don't you have work?'
Well, yes, yes I do. Does it matter? No.
I drove all the way down to my usual Starbucks (also meant I could drop Sid at home)and we all got something to drink. It was nice.
Both Chris and Sandy where there as well, which was neat to see them so randomly again. (even though they work there....)
The three of us reminisced about the German boys and their awesomeness.
Took Sid home, then drove Esther up to her house, and I finally went into work.
Work was horrible. So much to do, so little time. Asking me to do impossible things. (as in I told Bill that I could NOT find ANY file on something he wanted, and so we went to Terry to try to find it and he told her to go into his PERSONAL files to find it. How am I supposed to find stuff that's in there?! And then it wasn't even in there, so he just told me off the top of his head. Oh, yeah, I can find the data that's just sitting in your memory... thanks...
Went home early because I was getting frustrated.
Went to choir that night. Choir is choir. Last Monday though, because our final concert is this weekend.
Afterwards, I wanted a milkshake. So Esther and I went to A&Dub to get one. Then drove around (downtown and down to the river) and the back around.

Back to the End of the World

  • May. 25th, 2009 at 10:05 AM
Winter:
Sunday I actually felt kind of bad for sleeping in because the German boys were shipped off to a German Church early in the morning. (One right near my work, actually.)
Didn't do much that morning, but my Dad came back pretty late, so we dashed off to have Dim Sum for about 10 minutes before I dashed out to try to get downtown for a concert Pro Coro was doing along with extra boys (schools, germans and such)
I'm not going to lie - one of THE BEST concerts I've been to in a long time. Electronic Cello music?! Fucking awesome....
Took the boys home for a Canadian supper - steak. (Kinda got half-lost on my way home and ended up making a giant loop... stupid downtown..)
Then headed out to grab a drink from Starbucks, then head out to get to rehearsal for the concert that night.
Concert was kinda terrible. Stuttgart Boys sounded wonderful, but we sounded kinda yucky. (Not that people really noticed) And it was bloody fricken hot as hell in there. *dies*
After the concert we got everyone together and decided that we'd try to get lots of people to come out to BP on Colour Ave. Took people home so they could change out of their Tux's. Then went down to BP's not too long after.
Ended up with HUGE amounts of us. I felt bad for the waitress because it was just her upstairs.
After a few hours (some cheesecake - whoohoo! I finally got some!)
We decided to take the boys down to End of the World. Which meant some careful fitting of men in cars.
I had my two German boys, plus Annora's two boys, and Carl, who decided that he'd be very happy in the trunk. Which was hilarious because he really was quite happy in the back. Even pulled the canvas top over himself, until he started running out of air... and was barking like a dog...
Got down there. People were waiting up at the road because supposedly there was a couple having a 'date' down at the End of the World... *coughsexcough*
So we gave them five minutes then walked down very noisily.
It turned out to be SUCH a good idea. Zach showed up a little late with Sid's German boys and a box of Pilsner (eeewww horrible beer). And Melanie and Jon had brought beer as well, so everyone got a few beers.
We stood around talking for AGES, which was really nice. Learned a few German words that probably shouldn't be used everywhere... ;) And they offered their houses to us should we every come by Germany.
And at around 1 we headed home.

Park into Shopping into Drinking

  • May. 24th, 2009 at 9:10 AM
Winter:
Saturday actually turned out to be a good day. There wasn't much to do in the morning. I slept in for a while, which was nice. Then sort of wandered around the house doing nothing. Had a shower and got ready.
Went out to Starbucks to get something cool to drink because it's suddenly really hot/summery outside. Was a bit late getting down to the H park for the BBQ. But sat around with Esther, Mary, Francis and such and the German boys I hadn't met.
Let me just say that there are some FIIIINE specimens in that group. ;)
We wandered over to the park after the boys had had something to eat. But it was full of children, so we decided to just walk around the lake.
A few hours later the boys decided that they wanted to find some sunglasses for themselves. So Esther and I decided that we could go down to Colour Ave.
Zach also showed up around then to say 'hi'. So, Esther's boys, Sid and his boys, Zach and I all went up to Colour Ave to wander around. Stopped in a couple vintage stores. First one the girl found out they were from a German Boys Choir, so she told them it was her birthday and asked them to sing for her. She cried at the end. It was pretty funny.
We also laughed at the awesome glasses they had. Sid should NOT wear them....
Looked around a few more stores along the way with neat things in them. And a fair amount later and almost down the other end of Colour Ave, we went into another vintage store.
Esther was SO excited when she found crossword pants. And having no money on her and because she was so excited, I said I'd get them for her. All the German boys were laughing at her enthusiasm over them...
Then I found this rain coat - 80's style. Slightly seethrough. Plastic. I put it on, zipped it up, with the hood. Matthias came up and said 'It's like a ~~~~german~~~~ uuumm, how do you say it in English? Full body condom?' We all died laughing.
We also found LambChop. Does anyone else remember her?!?!
Esther and her boys headed out then, and Sid, his boys, Zach and I headed back to our cars. Stopped for bubble tea on the way.
Just to let you know, bubble tea is HARD to explain to someone who doesn't know English REALLY well and has never had it before...
Dropped everyone at home for about half and hour.
Then I took my German boys in my car, and Zach followed me to Sid's house to pick up the three of them.
I took the German boys, and Zach took Sid. (They're bestest buddies, didn't you know? ;) Just because they met the one time at Starbucks...)
As Zach's walking away he pats my car and says 'it's alright, she doesn't drive as fast as I do.'
Which means IT'S ON.
So, I drove a good clip around the culdisac, but Zach pulled out infront of me. We ended up doing 95 in a 50 zone... whoops?
We pretty much followed each other down to Colour ave, but right at the end we split up. I was trying to find a parking spot near the Irish Pub we were going to. And as I'm doing a two-point turn to turn around, Zach comes around the corner, so I zip back out infront of him and turn the corner. And manage to get the last parking spot on the street. BWAHAHHA. It was epic.
Met in the pub. There were about 20 of us that ended up showing up and sitting around drinking beer. Had them try a 'Canadian beer' - Keiths.
Took a while to get everyone out of the bar to go to the club. But we finally managed it and had a parade of German boys walking down whyte.
Managed to get into the usual Suite. Sid and his boys headed home then because they were tired. Wonderful Zach offered to drive them back, and then come back to party with us.
Dennis, one of my boys, can dance strangely well. Which Esther seemed to take to.
Met up with David, which was cool because I haven't seen him in a while. He was surprised that I had brought Zach out - he's been friends with him for a while.
I did a cute little maneuver to get Zach into the club that involved talking to men, smoking and waiting for the opportune moment. I am VERY skillful.
Zach was happy to see David as well as some other guys he knew. Danced a bit more, talking with people, and eventually we ended up going home.
Didn't race Zach home this time, but we drove next to each other pretty much the whole way, making faces.

Killing People, Pranks, Work, Drinking.

  • May. 23rd, 2009 at 3:21 PM
Winter:
So the day at work was Meh. Lots of work just sitting around. Lots that I don't want, nor think I can finish in the allotted time.
There were some good jokes that went on. Mostly sexual, as par usual. I had to get up ridiculously early because of the billets. They needed to be taken to the north end of the city (the arts school) by 8. And with only one car, I was dropped off at work early.
I felt like one of the 'guys' today because for a while now, George and Gord have been playing pranks on one another (mostly relating to their computers.) (Like unplugging things, changing desktops, turning things off, putting water on chairs...)
And Friday they obviously tried to do that with me. Change my desktop at least.
Got picked up at the usual time I leave so my dad and I could go pick up the car from the mechanics.
Fortunately it was fixed. Although there's a big story as to what was making the horrible rumbling sound in the back. Pretty much, it was the bearing that the kept the back axle moving. And it was broken and slowly breaking more... The main part being that HAD it broken, it would have KILLED people. As in, the car would have twisted, no steering, bad things. SO, it is fixed and all is well with the world.
My dad decided that he didn't really want me to take the car (although later on, he seemed fine with it..) so instead I phoned up Zach, and he and I went for a drive around the city. Then to meet Sandy, Chris, Justine, Alex and such at Starbucks. (Zach and I had tried to get a hold of Sandy, even went as far to ringing his doorbell until we remembered he was out at a movie... whoops.)
Starbucks. Not for TERRIBLY long, though. Then over to Brewsters. Which was nice to sit around with everyone.
Laughed at Chris. Was nice to see Kaitlin. Didn't do much after Brewsters, though. Mostly because I knew I was going to have to be up earlyish.

German Boys

  • May. 22nd, 2009 at 9:36 AM
Winter:
Thursday - German boys.
I didn't do much during the day. Had a short day at work because I came in late and left early.
Had to drop the car off at the mechanics because it's making weird noises. Then walked a bit to a Timmy's to have a icecap and wait for my father to pick me up on his way back from the airport.
Took some painting stuff with me and spent a while painting in the Timmy-ho's. People looked at me weirdly. Oh well.
Picked up the German boys. Unfortunately they aren't very handsome, and they're older, so no german harem for me... *sigh*

Houses! Pretty Ones!

  • May. 21st, 2009 at 11:33 AM
Winter:
Wednesday night was kinda weird...
I got home pretty late because there was so much to do at work. (I got to stop by my Dad's office to deliver a few things - I forgot how much I love that place. Huge atrium, I know the security guards, fish, water, trees, I know people on his floor...)
I got home and my Dad and I decided that neither of us were hungry, so we didn't have any supper.
Then RIGHT after my father headed out, Zach picked me up and we ended up driving around the city again, looking at the really pretty houses that people have. (Meaning the big ones in the rich neighbourhoods.)
Is that too couple-y to look at houses together and decide which ones you really like and dislike, and what you'd want to live in... and then agree?
*shifty eyes*
Got home in time to eat some pizza my dad had brought home and watch the American Idol final. (Adam is OBVIOUSLY the best out of everyone, but I'm glad he didn't win because that stupid song Kara wrote would be horrible for him to have on his record...)
And... with a shower, that's about it.

Long Drives With Long Talks

  • May. 20th, 2009 at 11:28 AM
Winter:
I wasn't expecting to do much on Tuesday. I was going to meet up with AJ/Allan (that I had met at Nikky's party) after work (he phoned me on the Monday to ask if I wanted to).
So, I did that. It was nice sitting in Chapters (Starbucks once again... I'm so ashamed) and talking with him.
After a couple hours, Zach said that if we wanted to hang out he could come pick me up. So I did that.
It was kinda weird when I first got in his truck because he was pretty quiet and had this look on his face.
So after a bit of driving I finally got him to talk. We had a LOOOONG talk about him, what he sees in himself, what this whole 'going to the Czech' thing means, and everything else.
I don't really want to go into all of it, but it took a few hours.
Got home late-ish, and that was pretty much my day.

A 'Do-Nothing-Really' Day

  • May. 19th, 2009 at 11:18 AM
Winter:
Holiday Monday.
Should be good, yeah?
Zach and I had planned to head out to the mountains for a day-trip.
Except.
When we woke up it was snowing outside.
Blizzard conditions on the highways.
FUCK.
SOOOOO, instead we stayed at home.
I went out to the BigMall to check out supposed giraffe sheets and Paul and mentioned to me via text yesterday. And for me to get the blue paint I needed as well as check out a couple other things there.
The BigMall is actually such a wonderful thing, it has the best selection of SO many stores. You can get everything you could possibly need there.
So I went there - giraffe sheets were actually leopard (which are AWESOME anyway) but they didn't feel nice. I think I'm just spoiled with my bamboo sheets... :)
And I got my paint. Took almost NO time.
But then I wanted to see if I could get some soap/cleanser from Sephora. (I LOVE the stuff that I got from there earlier) And I found a big bottle of it, which is awesome (things I never knew - it has silver in it... that's pretty cool...) and I got yummy apple-smelling moisturizer... arrggh, I almost hate myself for using the stuff now-a-days because I hate the feel of it.. but it's almost necessary with how terribly dry it is here and the fact that my legs have never been good at retaining moisture.
I also went down to the old store I used to work at because I LOVE their jeans there. They had a horrible selection as they usually do in the summer/spring. So I just popped my head into a couple other stores. (I really do need new jeans - the zipper broke on my favorite pair and this time it can't be fixed. And I'm too fat now that my size 3 pants don't fit the nicest anymore..)
So I came out of there with white pants (they're stretchy!!) and two pairs of jeans from another place for $26. I'm such a cheap person - I usually only buy things that are on sale/are cheap.
Then Zach picked me up from my house when I got back, and we spent the rest of the day driving around the city. Which was kinda nice.
Until I had to go to choir, which was sad, no matter how much I love my choir kids.

Painting and Molestation

  • May. 18th, 2009 at 11:12 AM
Winter:
Sunday was another party. Mostly because Monday is a holiday.
I didn't do much during the day again.
I helped clean up the house for our German boys. Then I got distracted by my art desk and the fact that I haven't done any painting for the longest time.
So instead of working on either my Mum's birthday present (that I am currently pissed at and wondering why in the hell I actually every agreed to doing for her) or Paul's bug painting, I started a new one.
One with a man jumping in a field with an umbrella. Except most of the picture is sky and only a tiny bit is field or man. And the blues I have DO not match what the sky should be...
But I was not going to be deterred. So I worked on the umbrella, thinking that it was easy enough to retouch should I happen to paint over it with the blue later on. Then I was so enthralled and I knew I was in one of those 'good painting' moods, so I ended up painting the guy as well.
Now I'm kinda fucked for getting the sky done... I think I'm going to have to cover up the man with tape or something so I can paint blue over him... It's going to be WAAAAY more work than I ever imagined. *sigh*
Anyway, after that, we were going to go out to a 'second night' at Scotty's place. But he decided that he didn't really want to, so Zach, an accumulated Sandy from Starbucks, and I went over to Patrick G's house. He and Justin were there watching Venture Brothers. (Awesome show, just so you know.)
I was molested thoroughly by Patrick and Justin - a tag-team effort. Meaning Patrick held me down to him (while on the floor) while Justin snaked his hand up my shirt and undid my bra so Patrick could grab my breasts. I don't care, I found it funny actually, but I wasn't so sure it was THE best idea because both boys DO have long-term girlfriends. hahaha whoops? Janet showed up as well and laughed at me.
Zach decided we should leave not too long after that. ( hahah *big smile* I told him he was jealous.)
So, we took Sandy home. (Zach says that he loves everyone, but after three days in a row he's getting sick of them- including Justin.) (For some strange reason though, Zach and I can't seem to piss each other off. Perhaps why we've been spending so much time together.)
He and I went for a bit of a random drive after that. But that was pretty much the end of the night.

Scotty's Birthday Party

  • May. 17th, 2009 at 9:58 AM
Winter:
I didn't do much during the day Saturday. My mother and I went out to the BigMall for a bit, just to look at dresses for this stupid wedding. Didn't end up looking at dresses, but rather found lots of clothes for her, and randomly found two pretty jackets for me. Yay for bright yellow!!
Did a bit of work in the garden when we got back. Mostly planting potatoes. I had a shower after that, of course, because I was pretty dirty, then phoned up Zach to tell him that we WERE going to Scotty's birthday party (about three weeks late).
Stopped by Starbucks for a bit. While waiting for those wonderful free drinks of awesomeness, Sid showed up. He was meeting some girl from his work. Which meant that Sid, Zach, this girl Sam and I ended up sitting together for a while, talking. And then Sandy got off work early, so he came to sit and talk with us as well.
We spent a fair amount of time sitting around at the handicapped table talking. Sid and I thinking about our German Harem boys we'll be getting on Thursday.
We asked Scotty if we could bring Sandy along, and with a 'yes', we took Sandy back to his house so he could change out of his work clothes.
Showed up at Scotty's HUGE house. Met Allie out on the front step. Tackle-hugged her. She dropped her Coke on her toe.. whoops?
Zach used to be pretty good friends with everyone that was at the party. They were all surprised to see him. Especially Pat who he used to be really good friends with and would show up outside Zach's house at one in the morning asking for him to come and hang out. (Gooood stories)
There was beerpong played, as usual. And some drinking. As well as some pretty yummy burgers made. (The whole party was outside.)
Then we hopped into our bathing suits and went into Scotty's hottub. Awesome. Until it started raining. But even then it was okay.
I even had my breast molested by Adam E's new girlfriend (and I grabbed her breast as well). (I find this extremely funny just because I randomly dated Adam E YEARS back.)
Ate another burger hours later sitting around on the deck upstairs at about 3 in the morning.
Zach and I DIED laughing at both the story Greene told about TJ jacking off everywhere no matter if he was over at someone's house. (I've heard most of the stories before, but just the sounds Greene was making to describe it was HILARIOUS.) And we also DIED laughing at a very high Sandy who was babbling on and eating Munchies like a chipmunk. "My eyelids feel REALLY heavy."
Got home pretty late, but happy.

Janet's Birthday

Winter:
Aaaah, Friday nights... Zach and I had decided we weren't going to do much. Mostly just go to Starbucks to be a bother, and then no plans afterwards.
Met up with Sandy at Starbucks. Didn't do much from there until Zach got a message saying that Janet's birthday party (which was going to be on the Saturday) was moved to that night. So we decided to head out to E&C.
Popped in there, laughed at people, mostly Justin. Then Mitch need to grab a ride from down south, so I volounteered (being the only sober one with a car) to go pick him up. Had company from Zach, picked up Mitch from near where MacLain used to live.
When we got back to Colour Ave, they had moved from E&C down to Juilo's.
Met them outside the restaurant, gave a Kiwi guy dressed as Robin a weird look, and went inside.
I don't know how much else I can describe, I suppose Facebook pictures tell more of a story. As always.

I forgot to add in that for work that day I had a RIDICULOUS amount of work, which scares me. But I also had to go help some electricians downstairs because we're helping fix up a parliamentarian's office (who is downstairs of us). I had to take out some old lightbulbs and put in new energy-efficient ones. Yes, they were screw-out. Yes, it was an easy job. But the last bulb I could NOT get out for the life of me. So ashamed, I went to ask the help of one of the younger electricians. He was kind enough and didn't laugh. And then he realized that, yes, the stupid bulb was REALLY stuck. So he ended up having to take apart not only the fixture it was in, but also the ceiling around it. It made me feel less like a helpless woman. hahaha

Cold Hockey Arenas

Winter:
Thursday I don't ever see Zach, just because he plays hockey with people then.
So I had made plans with Paul. Whom I love dearly. And haven't seen in a while.
So after work, he and I met up at Starbucks on Colour Ave. (I had stopped by a giraffe store and gotten a cute robot necklace - *big smiles*)
We spent a couple hours together, but he had another girl coming, so when Chris randomly showed up we talked with Paul for a bit, then he and I went wandering around Chapters (which the Starbucks was in) reminisced about old childhood books, then stood outside talking about Fred the Carnivorous People-eating Cat. And throwing underwear at people. Usual Chris conversation.
Since I had nothing better to do, Zach picked me up so I could come watch him, Justin and Dan play hockey.
Which I did until about 11. Which was fun, but REALLY cold.
I... I ... think that's about all I can say. Hhhmm.

Long Drives, No Movies, but Tickles

  • May. 14th, 2009 at 3:09 PM
Winter:
Wednesday I remember now as well.
Spent with Sandy and Zach like it usually is now-a-days.
I don't ever have anything to do Wednesday's, so I told Zach we needed to do something. And Sandy had the night off from work too.
We stopped by Sandy's house quickly first, but he had already left to walk to starbucks, so Zach and I listened to Will's band practice a song, then we headed out.
Zach decided that he wanted to go see a movie. Specifically 'I Love You Man' which I've already seen, but wouldn't mind seeing again.
We got down to SEC and it wasn't playing anymore. So Zach decided that just on spec we should drive out to the BIG mall and see if it was playing at the dragon theater there or the cheap-y one.
Took THE longest possible way out there, and found out that no, it wasn't playing at the dragon theatre, and the cheap-y theatre isn't there anymore.
SO, I told them that while we were there we needed to get some frozen yogurt. I think that's why I love that mall so much - not just the fact that it's huge and has everything you could ever want in it, but it has both AWESOME frozen yogurt and the Chinese Superstore (T&T). *sigh* the best things in life....
We then went back to Sandy's place to watch Nightmare Before Christmas. Which is always awesome. But I ended up getting tickle-attacked.
And that's generally the story of the evening.

Tea and Bitchyness

Winter:
I had a terrible brain-fart right now.
I was mixing up my Tuesday and Wednesday, but we're good now.
I was GOING to go to a booty call on Tuesday, but decided I didn't really want to, so I asked Zach on Monday if he was doing anything.
He told me to come along to tea/coffee with Justin, Alex and him. I agreed.
UNFORTUNATELY. MacLain half invited himself along (Alex let him come). Justin, Zach and I are NOT happy with him. We spent the time in the coffee shop (and adult coffee shop, should I add) just seething inside at MacLain's assholeness/narcissism/ego.
We decided to go to Brewsters. MacLain tagged along as well. Justin's girlfriend Janet showed up too. Along with Deyv and his girl, Jen. The four of them just bypassed our table and got a booth of their own JUST because of MacLain. And Zach kept sneaking off to talk to them, so I stepped outside to jog to Starbucks to say 'hi' to Sandy and get a breather.
Mostly because MacLain had made it his personal agenda to 'fuck me over' as he's told Zach. *rolls eyes* I really don't know why he's being such a dick lately.
Fortunately he jumped ship when I came back, so he and Alex headed out. Which meant that Zach and I could sit with the two couples.
Spent a while with them, but eventually headed home.

Why Do I Bother?

Winter:
I have no idea why I bother writing what I did on Monday's because all it is is work and choir.
That's it.
I swear.
